| Marching forward |
I have just noticed it's been a while since my last blog, this is not least because I have been very busy. December saw a trip to London a very enjoyable and successful visit, giving me a break from the northwest I have decided my annual London break is a must every year.
Next a lighter January schedule left plenty of time for content creation, the ideas keep flowing partly inspired by suggestions, partly my own imagination and desires.
February brought some more personal time before some very large commitments, this last week has been full of meeting some people I already had connections with, as well as a test trip to an area I may revisit in the future. Much coffee, cake, driving and several desserts later I have plenty to spring board into the remainder of the year. I also have the new hobby which is bubbling away awaiting the time when I can bask in some hard work. As ever variety will be the spice of life.
I also hope to not leave such a gap in my blog again, and I also hope to be in a position to report a few more adventures very soon. |

| Exciting times 1 |
Exciting times indeed the last 6 weeks have been very busy right across my life, I have called this blog 'Exciting times 1' because I need to break down everything that is happening. Part on is about the opportunity to engage in a new hobby.
When I say opportunity I would not otherwise enter this hobby, nor go out of my way to do so. Also if I miss this I will not get that chance again.
All very cryptic I hear, well yes even I am allowed a little privacy, but this is something that is coming out of perseverance, not giving up, having a gut feeling and being willing to try something slightly out of my depth. When I say 'out of my depth' I went into it eyes literally wide open, got a taste and decided I can do this. The people I have been able to share this with have been incredibly supportive when they saw the potential and how it fires me up. This little middle-aged woman is now stepping into a world in which women are often, but not always, accompanying rather than being at the front.
The next few weeks, perhaps a month will be crucial in finding out if I can go forward with this, then there will be a lull in which I can research, learn, develop further ready to engage at my best.

| Goldfinger |
A few of you may be aware of a dress I named 'goldfinger', this was an incredibly versatile dress perfect for the numerous occasions I wore it. I know it was popular it was also fantastic to wear, comfortable, flattering, elegant, stylish, individual I felt amazing wearing it but I literally wore it to death, having already hand repaired it at least once, today I realised a pull in the fabric almost a literal ladder means I can never wear it again.
On full inspection threads are hanging out of the back becoming entwined with the zip, the back fabric bobbling. So once I finish this blog the gold dress has to go in the bin. I know it will take some replacing, but hopefully this makes space for something new.

| Absolute blast |
The last 3 weeks have been absolutely fabulous, I have attended 3 concerts in descending order of size and reducing travelling distance but no less famous than each other.
One big stage my favourite pop duo, one classical in an important historic venue, one a rock legend. One was planned well in advance, the other two were spur of the moment relatively short notice. The pandemic had killed my motivation to attend concerts, or go into pubs and venues serving alcohol. If you do not know I am tee total for a very serious reason, not because I am boring quite the contrary. I actually drank and partied to extremes to a dangerous level, cultivating an addiction that took some time to quit. Thankfully I was eventually able to stop and stay stopped but then my lifestyle changed, I had zero reason to visit alcohol serving venues apart from specific events I was particularly interested in. But the pandemic brought a reason to avoid crowds, not because I am afraid, but because contracting covid would mean cancelling advance bookings plus any other fixtures in my life.
Anyway part way into June I decided I missed live music, made a resolution to get dressed up and attend music events that appealed to me. Having achieved just that, I am now taking a social life rest until mid-August when I have a new experience lined up for 1 entire day. Something I intended to do in 2020 but of course the big P got in the way of those plans.
Until then I am very happy revelling in the events I have enjoyed, making memories that cannot be taken away. |

| Kink or Kinky |
What does the word kink, or kinky conjure up in your mind? The Cambridge Dictionary defines Kink as Unusual, strange & possibly exciting, especially in ways involving unusual sexual acts.
When someone asks me to describe or enact something kinky, this can mean very different things to different people. Kinky to one can mean one thing, to another something much more extreme.
One person using the word kinky told me he had oral sex in mind, a blow job to be specific.
Another person using the word kinky may mean gentle bondage, use of cuffs, or a little slap & tickle. Now Slap & Tickle is another blog in the writing, but light spanking, tie and tease, tickling, use of satin or real silk is a gently delightful way to deviate slightly from the norm.

| Never quite perfect - there is always something! |
When making a video an idea or concept comes to me, I will decide on the type of video - what I am going to show. Clothes, jewellery, perhaps a few lines. Get the lighting and camera set up just right, then I shoot. Sometimes I get part way in, feel it is not right then start again.
Recently I wanted to shoot an orgasm, everything set up off I went. I had however already had 2 that day. Anyone who knows me knows 1 orgasm for me is pretty good, takes quite a lot of effort, 2 is very good, 3 in one day exceptional. I was really pushing it, but decided to give it a go.

| The Crown |
Hope you had a fabulous festive period in whatever way you wished to enjoy it. Because I have an early in the year birthday, I prefer to start Christmas late then extend until my celebrations are complete.
Although most of the decorations are now taken down, put away I do still have tinsel in my webcam room. This tinsel made in Wales is a lovely chunky blue & silver I would like to enjoy it a little longer so it can stay another day or two.
I often enjoy betwixmas week finding it a change as some commitments are reduced, this year time opening up meant I could get some webcam and phone chat hours in. I had some really great encounters this way, and New Year's Eve formed a pinacle. I got into the mood with a Happy New Year banner, and put on my slinky satin wrap dress. Had a very exciting day, then ready to see the new year in quietly at home. Yes having had my excitement on cam I was very happy to just chill out, take it easy.
I cannot quite remember but my New Year's eve more than likely involved an episode of The Crown. Brought up mostly anti-royal I do enjoy The Crown for many reasons, whether you agree with me or not I truly do not mind. The country has a Royal Family, they are part of our heritage, some use the word institutions and to many an important part of our culture.
For me the episodes provide issues for discussion factual or fictionary. I can also admire the fantastic wardrobes, jewellery, style whilst fact checking events using Wikipedia. Although I grew up in the late 20th century I still missed some events, or did not realise the full situation. I have also benefited from being able to read back to before my life started, some events I had heard about from those older in my life. Although not convinced by the set of actors in the most recently watched episodes, I shall continue to use this (and Call The Midwife) as 'date with the TV' treat.

| California dreaming |
As the song goes "All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey", certainly a good description for the Lake District at this time of year. Bright oranges however can be seen alongside the browns, vivid against the grey.
A round trip to a concert in Manchester took me via Chester, a city I have not visited since before the pandemic. My stay was incredibly relaxing even if I did find packing difficult, this time instead of starting packing a week prior I left packing to the day before. Inbetween answering phone calls, emails plus a little unpredicted admin the packing took an entire day. I did not enjoy this at all, so in future I am going to try starting 2 days prior so I can be relaxed in the final throes rather than exhausted and utterly exasperated.
Once on the road everything was fine and the trip an utter success including the concert in venue I had not previously had reason to visit. On my return home I bought several albums before realising it was about time I started to learn some new technology for my music collection. I now have a new gadget which I am slowly getting used to.
Takes me a while to get used to new things, but some things cannot go on forever. They can however go on for a long time.

| Time flies |
It's 5 months since my last blog and 4 months since I started accepting new clients again. The time has absolutely flown, it truly has been amazing. I just want to say thank you to clients old and new who continue to be fantastic. Someone asked me the other week 'How do I become a regular? ', my answer most regulars book 2-4 weeks in advance by text, phone call or within their booking, confirm on the day, turn up and have an great time. Simple as that. For those who can't book ahead it may be a bit more of a lottery, but people have gotten to see me by just contacting me at the right time, been specific and been with me within a couple of hours.
Over summer which is not quite over yet I've attended the postponed 2020 concert, this experience was absolutely amazing I really did cry with excitement before they came on stage. I now have tickets booked for 2023.
Healthwise at the end of June I managed to have Covid-19 for the first time ever, I consider myself lucky and that my precautions must have worked for me to avoid it for so long. It wasn't a pleasant time and I still have mostly zero sense of smell, but my energy levels are fabulous - actually better that before I had the virus. This is I think because it put the focus on R&R, sleep and my own downtime. I did actually cam and phone chat through the illness, I simply rested a lot but was not engaging in my usual training regime. In response to the Monkey Pox outbreak I have been given the small pox vaccine by NHS sexual health services, I started asking about this as soon as the outbreak came into public awareness. Initially I was told vaccine is only for men (who have sex with men), but asked again and was eventually told I would be on the list for vaccine when it arrived. I received small pox vaccine on one of the hottest days of the year, driving all the way to Carlisle clinic, very grateful to have done so. I don't intend coming into contact with monkey pox, but I would rather be safe than sorry.
At the end of July I had another photoshoot, this time trying out a pin-up style studio in Manchester. I had a very enjoyable day modelling dresses and lingerie I wanted to show off, as well as taking away tips from the make up artist. I have now changed the way I wear eyeliner. The resulting photos are amazing, some are saying the best they have seen. These join the selfies I post regularly, so hope you enjoy viewing both.

| The Covid-19 blog |
A few people have wondered if my decision to stop accepting new clients has been influenced by the pandemic, so I thought it was time for me to write a blog on my stance.
Firstly the new client situation was all about needing more time to myself, focussing on the many current and regular clients who like to make their regular booking. Setting up bookings with new clients does require more time and provision of detail, that time and energy I wished to focus more onto bookings with clients I already have. Quite a few have been in touch and of course everyone is an exception, please be patient guys April 1st is not too far away now - only a fortnight.
Back to Covid-19 after initially taking a break from Escort bookings, I started seeing people very cautiously often only 1 or 2 bookings per week on a 'one every two days maximum'. I kept away from crowded events, other people, and didn't even meet my family indoors for I think 18 months. Even then we did not hug and kept apart as much as we could. I discovered I was eligible for vaccine way ahead of my age group, took the first then the second dose as soon as I could. Two weeks after the second dose I started accepting 1 booking per day. I have since accepted a 3rd dose. To add to this I started home testing for Covid-19 as soon as kits were available, testing at least twice per week if not more frequently ever since and still do to this day.
Shortly before the pandemic I started improving my hand hygiene, and continue to practice washing hands whenever I have been out. When I arrive outcall I usually use the bathroom to freshen up, so my hands are washed as soon as possible after arrival. Incall I request visitors wash their hands, not least because fingers can end up in my mouth, as well as other intimate areas. Way before the pandemic I have tasted petrol, cheese and onion sandwiches, tobacco, a few other delights on fingers so I do consider this good practice. Following an incall I wash my own hands, use mouthwash, shower, change linen immediately, spray all handles, taps, bathroom or kitchen items touched with a solution of Zoflora. I also use the same spray on any equipment, toys, restraints, implements used. When returning from outcall I use handgel when I get back to my transport/before eating or drinking, on arrival home I wash hands, use mouthwash and shower at the first opportunity.
I still keep away from other people, I have once or twice attended mass events but I wear a mask and keep my distance wherever possible. I am not a frequent pub, restaurant or other social event attendee and that has stayed that way. One sacrifice has been the cinema, I did enjoy going to an old-fashioned style cinema but now for many reasons including convenience I simply now watch from the comfort of my own sofa. I do have tickets for an arena concert, my favourite band in a couple of months time, I am anticipating complete overwhelm as a result of my 'live-music-and-big-screen-abstinence'. A little like the time I ate meat after 6 months pescatarian diet.
Most clients I am finding have received vaccine and quite a few do carry out testing, some do not. Choice is really important, and like sexual health I do not know what other people do. All I can do is take responsibility for myself.
So far I have not knowingly contracted Covid-19, one day I probably will but I just keep on doing the things I do to minimise the chance of being ill, isolating totally, or transmitting the virus.
Much of the above is to some just common sense, if it helps that is great, if it helps me avoid the high number of colds I used to suffer with that is worth the effort.
I was never high volume and my lifestyle including different ways of working are not compatible with many bookings per day. I enjoy training, a personal life, another form a work, also within sex work webcam, phone chat, and of course Escort bookings. Result is a handful of Escort bookings per week is perfect, sometimes very occasionally the handful may involve two in one day when it does I need a gap of at least 3 hours to accommodate the changing, preparing and if outcall the travel. My preference is however just one booking per day, and even when I have accepted two, often one does not work out due to cancellation. there are also days when I do not have any physical bookings, simply because my focus is online work that day.

| To the far east and back |
I used to call Newcastle, Tyneside the far east however at the end of February I had my first ever trip to Hull. The weekend was glorious full of adventure, a great journey across the Pennines. Scenery and a great change of scenery as we arrived at the port.
Of course I already had much planned for the few hours I had to myself in the afternoon, I really wanted to make use of the city facilities. I had a few shops to visit, and training opportunities. An event at the hotel which reminded me of Footballers Wives (not that I have watched it) created an interesting, sometimes challenging, sometimes amusing disturbance. The event I was attending was quite niche, eclectic, and earthy in contrast to the crowd at the hotel.
The following day following a relaxed, drawn out breakfast and coffee I once again availed myself of city opportunities including of course a trip to Boux Avenue. It's been a long time, many years since I bought anything from Boux. I did notice some of their ranges looked very similar to a few Agent Provocateur designs. I was however drawn to a range which did not appear to be a copy, in a colour and style I know will be enjoyed by at least two clients of mine. The lingerie back has so far sat untouched awaiting a couple of specific bookings, I am really looking forward to wearing it.
The drive home on the Sunday was all part of the weekend, glorious views once again. A few issues on the way home continued the adventure, elongating the journey time but also provided opportunities to my benefit.
I arrived home with a big smile on my face, it had been a great trip and a great adventure with many tales to tell. |

| Never bored |
I could write three blogs about this week, one would start always be prepared. It's been a rollercoaster of treats, tribulations and a little surprise.
I was so pleased to have my first full scale and polish since the beginning of the pandemic, the best the hygienist could do until now was only a manual pick and scrape. This has been awful but my teeth are important to me, not to mention my smile so I bore with it. The full electric tool experience ok was hard going, but I use a mix of box breathing and daydreaming to get me through it. The end result is definitely worth it.
Always 'on' never 'off' is another.
I have had a hectic pandemic launching myself into online, virtual services, not going on holidays, and making the most of in-person opportunities once I felt protected enough to do so. I also know I want to take everything I have learned online forward to create a balance, make it work for me. I find mixing in-person and virtual services both very exciting and rewarding, I want both to continue.
This week and in the next month or two I need to pay attention to putting things in place to make the most of this, and also have a little breather. First little project of which was order and install an 'up-to-spec' laptop. I have been using a much 'under-spec' laptop bought pre-pandemic when I did not understand the technical requirements for online work. I have learned about processors, RAM, SSD, graphics cards, sound, ports, cameras, asked for recommendations from other experienced performers.
Finally I pressed the order button for my chosen model this week, very much daunted I opened the box in awe. This truly was like Christmas, and as I installed everything the excitement grew. I often describe webcamming as piloting a plane, I steer the rig, go through a series of checks before I am ready to go live. Yesterday I took the new machine on it's maiden flight. I am very pleased everything is crisp but soft, works well, opens quickly and is so user friendly no more struggling.
I am now looking at a slightly better camera, and potentially a broadcast standard microphone.

| Great British Scandal |
Television is something I do not routinely watch, I will however set a date for a TV evening. Over the Festive period one programme caught my eye, so date was set to watch 1 episode on iplayer.
Great British Scandal had be absolutely transfixed it seemed to offer everything, a chance to find out something about 20th Century history whilst enjoying stunning wardrobe, scenery, brilliant acting and fabulous style.
The more I learned about Margaret the more I became aware of the strong character she was, she spoke out, she did not behave like a 'lady', but she refused to be owned and squashed down. Also the nails, the nails. Her nails and her bright red lipstick say it all. Totally inspired I am determined to make sure I do not go without good lipstick. On a couple of occasions recently I have been so relaxed I have not tidied up kiss-worn lips, on some occasions I really should make the effort to tidy up, the problem is then what about that kiss goodbye?

| The missing blog |
Many people mention my blog, they say they enjoy reading it and get to know the things I like. This summer I have been so busy as I transitioned from the online, to incorporating in-person activities. I truly want to use everything I have learned, use the pandemic as an opportunity. It has certainly made me incredibly appreciative of a lot of things.
More recently I had the opportunity to visit London for a very special personal celebration, this was an absolute once in a lifetime celebration. This celebration had been intended earlier this year, but restrictions had delayed and now suddenly at one month's notice it was happening. I cannot go into detail here I can say the experience is something I can still feel, partway through I stopped to ponder 'why am I feeling so calm and relaxed?'. Then it dawned on me it was because everyone was so nice, pleasant and there was not any rushing about.
Being there I felt I was in a little tranquil oasis, this is now something I can look back upon and still feel the atmosphere. I can tap into this whenever I like, an experience which keeps on giving.
