Tie a yellow ribbon

For all those veterans of this wonderful site.
And quite possibly a few of the younger generation too.

This is what i thought about today as i approached Preston new road
Fracking site. With my springer spaniel himself wearing a yellow ribbon on his collar. Which signifies. Sanity and peaceful. Protest.

All the way along the road, which stretches some distance.

My legs are now aching from the intensity of the walk.in rain and mud.
I did continue onto tesco for some refreshment
Before beginning my journey back home.

Onwards passing the sight . now almost dusk
And as i approach i notice two. Luminous orange clad telly tubby security men

Scary times

As a woman who loves to write
And blog
And not just about happy and exciting things, but about irony and adversity
Trials tribulations and everything in between.

im today wanting to blog about my recent crazy
Spinning im having
And not the type brought on by classes
On bikes
Or drunken parties, unfortunately.
But the strange vertigo type spinning
Which i can only compare to having the rug
Pulled from underneath my feet
And then bring tipped upside down

Happened on Saturday
Whilst i was out walking my dog
In a field.
The whole landscape turned upside down
And my vision
Was gone
And i couldnt locate my hands phone or anything
I was terrified
Thought the worst.
My dog didnt even seem ti notice
Or care
Or maybe he thought i was messing
Anyway
After what seemed like an eternity
Aid came and i was taken to hospital
And effort was made to convince me
It was nothing serious.
Im a sceptical hypochondriac
So how could i settle
Without several opinions
Or some decent
Investigations?

One doctirs appointment
On today
And even with my offer of paying
Fir a scan
My gp would not allow me to see a consultant
As he said it would be gone by the time i saw one?
Maybe?
But the fact is if i pay i could get seen tomorrow
So thats bollocks fir a start.
Plus what the hell kind of virus is ut
That causes this?
I sure as hell dont know!

I wanted a scan i told him
He replied
There is no need.
His name is dr S Maharaj
Im Blackpool
For reference
Why the hell i didnt insist in a consultation
Is beyond me?
Surely as its something out of the blue
Doctors should get the appropriate consultant?

Why should i go home and wait
Without real knowledge until it passes
Had another bad one this morning
When i first woke up
Scared me so much
I cried
All day i spent worrying
And stressing

Its unpredictable
And terrible to endure
Reading other peoples accounts of similar
Experiences
Is all i can do

Praying fir a swift recovery
As i so need my much waited for italian
Vacation
I nursed my mother
And then my cat
With unexpected illnesses
And pray that i will be well enough to travel

Electricity and all appliance breakdown Argggggh!

Today was destined to be uneventful
In terms of contacting clients, correspondence type things.
I kid you not.
I have had no less than 10 iphone chargers
Mainly the iphone 5 ones!
All break, built in obsolecence? Definately!
They are made that way
Which means yoh alwats need to carry a spare abd a spare for that spare, and a soare for that spare!
Tis a shame as the phones are quite good!
Laptop playing up too
Definately got myself a few gremlins and Trojan horses
Along the way:(
Argghhhh!
So frustrating it is, when you just get going when the whole thing crashes.
Its a full in head doing experience!
Now today 5 charger down
Finally discivered a charger in between my paperwork
And am back on iphone 4 today
Which to me is thd most resilient of the iphones.
Only last week
I decidex to remove a cover from the iphone 5
And promptly dropped it face down on concrete!
Not a good idea:(
Needing a screen replacement now!
I find phones and computers very tiring and sometimes long for the pre iphone
Days of old.
When we had more time for the finer things of life:)
They are i suppose an evil necessity much like money!
Oh to live in a meadow surrounded by cows
And cut off from the outside world!

Pricks, Pricks and more pricks

Its Autumn once again, and as i lie in my cozy bed this warm sunny Sunday morning, perusing the holiday options for a much desired break from routine, and a recharge,

It dawned on me how id suddenly embarked upon a prickfest.

there are so many ways one can be pricked too.

After visiting a relatively new cosmetic surgery practitioner,in my on going search for some help with my eye problem, which has got out of hand over the last few years,

blepharitis takes its toll on the eyes and the eyelidskin.
and is so debilitating.

I have been a sufferer since childhood, and probably it affects me more because of the nature of my career, that of a painter.
I have been a sufferer of blepharitis since childhood.
and it has always got me down.

there is no known cure, it just has to be managed,
but its time consuming and tedious, having to bathe my eyelids three times daily.

I have been searching for a real competent surgeon to help me with the area of skin around my eyes for years and years.

I read so many horror stories about eyelid surgery making the eyes worse nit better. which in this day and age, seems hard to believe.

Time is of the essence. and timet isnt on my side.
however im still on that mission, although it may be an impossible one?

Its a costly and time consuming journey , locating and visiting any potential surgeons,

and takes some skill to decide whether or not the surgeon can actually do what he says he can.

For the time being. I have decided up on a safer option.
There iS hardly a woman anywhere now who hasnt had a prick:)
In the yearn to stave off the years.

Sunshine and the horn

Lady Godiva

Well youve all heared of her.
Lady Godiva!

Beautiful dandelion

Beautiful, magical
dandelions, everywhere.

Aiming to improve as i produce more.
My bedroom is now so full of my artwork its more like a gallery

Decided to take a few days break from my usual routine
And head to Italian Riviera.
