A weekend well spent x

Wow what a weekend. Just what the doctor ordered but these hangovers get terrible the older you get lol. I spent all of yesterday in bed watching movies and eating take away food.

Hey guys, I hope you’re all happy, healthy and being super naughty!

So I’ve decided it’s time to get back into my fitness routine and not just for my body but for my mind to. Away from cam I’ve faced some challenges in my personal life and think it’s time to get back fighting fit, Mentally and physically.

By letting you follow my journey it will keep me motivated and of course I can show you my progress with some fitness videos which I know lots of you love! Especially when I’m wearing them tight gym kits and sweat dripping down my body.

I’m not quite ready to get back in the gym yet so il be starting by some work out routines at home, healthy eating, less television and more reading.

I won’t be doing this to lose weight, I love my curves and as we know muscle weights more than fat. So weighing myself isn’t what il be checking up on. For me I do want to be more toned and stronger and I think it’s how I look rather than what the scales say. Once I’m ready il be back in the gym. For a few that know me from years ago, I was a hardcore gym bunny and some days I’d go 2/3 times in a day. I love feeling and looking fit and that adrenaline rush you get after a work out is better than anything. I’m pretty lucky because I love healthy food anyway so for me it’s ditching the snacks, oh and the sandwiches! I’m such a bread whore!! so that’s the tough bit for me but once I’m in my routine it becomes easier. Meal prep is vital for me, having it ready and in the fridge stops me from grabbing a packet of crisps or something easy. So I always make sure my meals are done for about 3 days and plenty of fruit, salad & some nuts to snack on in between. Don’t starve yourself. Eat the things you love but in moderation and maybe eat a smaller portion. You don’t have to stop eating the foods you love otherwise you will crave them more and more likely to fall off the wagon and binge on them. which will only leave you feeling upset with yourself.

I love walking by myself and it’s an easy way to exercise. Put your favourite pod cast or some music on and walk for half hour. It also clears your head so if you’re facing anything it’s a good way to figure things out or take a break away from it for a bit.

I also like to read books like The Magic or The Secret. It’s not for everyone but the magic is broke down to daily practices which can really help you see things in a more positive light. It has helped me through some difficult times and I’ve brought the book for many of my friends when they are facing difficulties.

I also love music, it really can change your mood so put on that dnb and dance around the house or stick that calming music on take some deep breaths and then get back to your day. For me enigma or Arron Hibell are so uplifting and I love my dnb to get me feeling energised.
