| How many true friends can you say you have? |
Hi Again,
I have been contemplating. How many of you have a loyal friend you can rely on in both the good times and more importantly the bad times?
Life seems effortless when all is good and your true friends are evidently there for you but when life is less than rosy how many of them hand on heart do you think will be there for you?
See this as an important exercise this week. Look around. Be aware.The result may surprise you. Ask them all the same simple favour.
Who will accept willingly and more importantly follow through?
Who will say yes to you but then do not follow through?
Who will just ignore or even disappear. Yes i know that person,
If i asked how many friends would be there for you if you suddenly became very wealthy? A lot i think.
Then ask how many would be there if you were suddenly poor..... i have a pretty good idea but do you?
Make a mental note now. You never know when you might have to put this into practice.
Cherish those true friends who will walk that journey with you. Their friendship is beyond wealth because it IS priceless. |

| What I learned this week |
Hi
In those downtime moments, you know the ones where only a brew and chocolate Hob Nob will do i caught a call in on the TV.
The caller a female said that the downstairs left hand corner of your home should always be free of clutter.....
I was failing badly then. The reason? This is the area of your home that attracts wealth to you. If cluttered the Universe cant deliver that wealth.
To be fair psychologically a good de clutter can be very calming and a clear mind does feed down into our body.
Anything that makes our life easier and less stressful has to be a good thing right?
I am into Feng Shui after someone told me my treatment table was facing the wrong way according to those principles so i moved it. See i listen to what you say when you visit and sometimes i act on it.

| Holiday Stress a coming;;;;; |
OK. Big holiday coming. Family, relatives you probably do not want to see. Chaos. Sound familiar? That is why rime with me at mine is YOUR sanctuary away from the above.
Please do not book unless you are 100 per cent sure you can attend. Thar applies year round.
A known fact that the holidays spell stress unless you are adept at managing all that comes with it. Preparation helps a lot. The more you prepare to minimise any pitfalls the smoother the holiday will be.
Then you can sit back and say ' I got this '. Next time you will be more prepared. Forewarned is forearmed as the saying goes but its true it really is and in a few days that holiday will be over for another year and you can sit back and brearh a sigh of relief.

| Lakes Therapy |
Had a wonderful therapy day with a fantastic member. From 11 till 4pm they had my undivided attention. No pesky distractions. Mobiles switched off.
When you eliminate those daily distractions/ annoyances almost immediately you lift that pressure from you. You begin to see what has been hidden, ignored or distorted in your life.
You can breathe...... really breathe....
Combination of services can be done where appropriate.
The Lake District has a tranquil effect on most people. Just those two words Lake District...
I do offer lots of options both in Carnforth and District and Manchester to consider for your convenience.

| Silly season upon us! |
First of all can I wish everyone I know a safe, relaxed, free of worry festive time. We have all experienced our good days and a few bad ones no doubt
It's not what happens to us but how we handle those curve balls. Do learn to take quality time out for yourself. It's necessary for you to function as a happy, healthy individual
Learn to step back and view from the outside in periodically. This is a useful experience to cultivate and master
Remember you only get one of you. Make it the best version of you so that you can step into 2024 with confidence.

| Summer Combo |
Hi All,
I do hope all is good with you. When the sun shines the effect on us psychologically is priceless. The sun and the added light is a mood booster. When are mood is lifted we automatically feel better which then reflects in everything we do. It's a positive circle of well being wrapped around you . How lovely?
Sit in the garden and experience that or plan that get away if you can. Either way learn to prioritise your mental needs as well as the physical ones!
I'm here when you need my help. In the meantime remember the sunblock!

| Do you crave the great outdoors? |
Its no accident that many of us crave the great outdoors. Our minds crave it just as much as our bodies.
Ask yourself how much better you feel after a walk, a hike or for the more energetic amongst you a 26 mile marathon.
I promote a healthy body as well as a healthy mind. when both are functioning effectively you really can move mountains.
When you visit me i ensure both your mind and your body are in sync as best i can.
Spring means a fresh outlook on life. Utilise that and step forward with confidence.
You know your own mind and your body and what makes it tick. |

| Christmas Amnesty |
Ages. I apologise but life has been busy. As you know I'm offering psychotherapy sessions as well as the physical therapies.
As you'll know I care deeply about the people I see and the services I offer. Everything is confidential. Ifvi saw you in Tesco I don't come over and say anything.
I'm also splitting time between Manchester and Carnforth too. So busy days.
I offer a Christmas amnesty. I did it last year. If there were issues between us I consider a second chance to some right now.
Unlikely I will post again before the year end so have a happy and healthy Christmas all

| More quality time.... |
As someone quite rightly pointed out I'm always around. I'm here when others aren't. I rarely get a weekend day off and my work life balance badly needs addressing. So on my return from a few days break next week you may see my light go off earlier.
I'm trying to streamline my days now filled with several therapies via this site and my own. Yesterday I took a rare half a day off and realised how nice it was to do that even if it was to prepare for my break!
So, on my return I will be welcoming contact earlier in the day and those wanting me in advance. That way i can structure my working day more effectively.
I hope you understand.

| That odd bad penny... |
Hi All,
I've not posted in a while, sorry about that and today I post a little sadder. A mid 70s man booked me after a lengthy, and I mean length chat then proceeded to book a lengthy slot. Last night out of the blue before any meeting I was met by an abusive text cancelling the slot. Now, I've never met this man. The conversation was the only one. He may well have been having a bad day or had too much free time on his hands deciding to use it to upset me.
I'm always upbeat and cheerful as you all know but today I'm that bit less so. His content is unimportant but the effect no less upsetting. I'm human, I have feelings. I offer an exceptional service so it hurts when someone who's never met me treats me like that. Sorry if I sound like I'm moaning. I hope I'm never that cantankerous when I get to that age.
Thanks for listening. Please, I think the world of my AW friends.

| Don't Panic! |
Hello Spring!
This is the season of hope and optimism. The dates are out. It's getting brighter and lighter as are the nights. I believe optimism can move mountains. You can achieve far more this way whereas negativity just makes everyday life that bit more difficult.
All this guff and scaremongers currently around don't help but go about life as you always have. I've read many a medical report. The media is stirring up people's fears and anxieties. Remember when they hint there's a petrol shortage or we are running out of x, y and z there are those that rush out and panic buy whereas if you think this through logically you save yourself the stress.
I hope everyone has a lovely Spring and conducts their life as normal. Take Care

| New products! Happy New Year |
Happy New Year All,
I hope The festivities passed without too much drama and you had enough spare chairs for the unexpected guests. The good news is a New Year brings new possibilities. As you know I always have products here you can acquire al9ngside the massage oils, wax melts and body creams.
I am now also a Stockist for oils for muscle relaxing and aches and pains which can be taken orally. We've seen a rise in these in recent years namely since 2015 If you want to know more drop me a line.

| Hubble, bubble and all that.. |
Now I know many of you are planning the design of the pumpkin. Please make sure any red colouring used over the fateful day is fake and not as a result of the sharp knife you are carving said pumpkin with. I've been a tad accident prone of late mainly due to multi tasking too quickly.
This is now the calm before the storm and the onset of more festive enquiries which start in earnest next month. Being prepared in this respect is just as important as any Halloween planning.
Remember when we used a black bin bag as our costume? They were the days. Coupled with a naff hat and naff mask but we were happy. If you call this week I can oblige with one per customer! Do enjoy your celebrations and if a black cat should cross your path hi d you don't trip over it. X
