| Take each day as it comes .. |
Hello it’s been a while since I’ve blogged had a lot going on and family always come first and then I went and had accident 4 weeks ago …… I was thrown of a horse I have 3 fractured ribs and damaged discs in my back .
I was taken by ambulance on a spinal board which I stayed on for 6 hours … I generally thought I had winded myself for quite a while but once got to the hospital they scanned me and told me whAt I had done .
I was kept in for 36 hours
And told i couldn’t drive for 6 weeks and no liftting , pulling or pushing .
It’s been really hard the last 4 weeks loosing my independence
Not being able to be near the horses or being at work either
Thank you for the lovely messages from clients who knew about my accident and just keeping in touch to see how I am .
Today I went for a check up on my back and
I’m now allowed to drive short distances no lifting or riding horses for 6 months
And I’m not going to over do it as
As I will put myself back
And need to look after my spine .
I will be back at work few days next week and then hopefully after 24 th be back to normal hours.
And will look foward to seeing you all again.

So long since I’ve blogged which I’m sorry about but have things I need to concentrate on in my private life and my family always come first …
Christmas was quiet but lovely had over two weeks off lots of walking and Time at the stables thankfully rain has gone away now and more enjoyable for us people with horses …..roll on the spring and lighter mornings and evenings makes us all feel happier ..

Hi it’s been so long since I’ve blogged
Just when you think things are getting back to normality things go wrong
I got pinged a couple of weeks ago and although I tested negative ,,,,,had to isolate for 10 days due to being in contact with a family member who had COVID thank goodness they are over it and it wasn’t to bad ....... the saddest part of isolation was my best friend and family were coming to stay for 10 days and we had plans for day trips etc
At the end of isolation she got down for a long weekend which was something and managed to get out to the coast and also have a couple of gins and of course a few cups of tea lol ..
Then Thursday evening I started getting bad pain in my eye didn’t get any sleep so went to minor injuries the next morning they though I had an ulcer on the eye ...
Then they made me urgent appointment at the hospital to see them that afternoon
...turns out I have an corneal abrasion so gave me antibiotics eye drops and put in a contact lense bandage and told me to wear sunglasses too help as well ,,didn’t have great weekend and they saw me Monday to see how it was doing and they changed the drops and left contact lense bandage in and I’ve got to go back again Monday ,,,it feels uncomfortable now but I’m getting sleep which is a good thing ..
Hoping know more goes wrong they say it comes in threes well .... my best friend was due down this weekend and she’s had to cancel due her grandad passing away that’s when hate living so far away but we have October half term to look forward to when have a week together which will be great .
I just want to say thank you to some lovely people through out the last 18 months who even though I havent worked much have still been in contact with me and made me smile .... I am just me and love to make sure everyone else is ok and help when ever I can and I just do that because that’s who I am and don’t ever do it for anything in return
But when someone stays in contact even when they can’t see you it’s lovely and that’s when you know you really make a difference in people’s life’s that’s an amazing feeling ...
If you have never visited me before and if we get on when I speak to you on the phone and then you come to see me make time in your day so you can relax and don’t have to rush your escapism I always Recommend at least 1 hour ….. and also I am a real person be respectful at all times and don’t start pawing at me when you walk through the door or drop your trousers before we have sorted the paper work and had a chat because if you do this we will not get on and you won’t get a chance to see me again ….

Christmas 2020 quiet...strange ....but was still nice... very hard when a family member is terminally ill but made sure that even though sad time we made memories and that’s what it’s all about and making sure family and loved ones come first at all and especially now.. Well hello ....it’s been a while since I’ve blogged was chatting to a very supportive friend today and said I really must blog .....now normally I blog about things related to work and that’s not been possible over COVID times ...
So what have been up too ...well most of you know family always comes first they have kept me busy and my health hasn’t been great not COVID related but have finally had my mri down and get the results on the 17 th and start some medication and then have more tests done in new year....
So did many of you get snow don’t get me wrong looks very pretty but the freezing fog that stayed for three days was horrible ...
Mr kylo being 6 months old loved the snow wanted to try and eat it and was like bambi on ice for those who don’t know who kylo is he’s my puppy best thing that came out of COVID ......even when he starts snoring and dreaming when I’m on cam .
I want to thank you all for continued support through out COVID it means a lot to me and feel very lucky and you help keep me smiling ....just take each day as it comes and don’t over think things ....one thing I’ve found hard is that couple of my close friends have lost family during COVID to cancer and can’t see them or hug them in these such sad times but have still called and text as out of sight to me doesn’t mean out of mind and can’t wait till we have some normality next year ....
Christmas 2020 is nearly here were did the year go ..? I’ve sent cards and presents that needed to be done ....will continue to wrap presents at the weekend ...food orders done and sorted and marks and Spencer’s pick up arranged on Xmas just before Miday then complete family time for a few days .....thank goodness for FaceTime to see friends and family who can’t see and of course can be naughty/ on it too lol
