| Why I Can't Wait For Autumn. |
Its the middle of Seotember. is it too early to start thinking about autumn? I’m not sure. It certainly doesn’t feel like it with the glorious sunshine we are having. Yesterday I went out for lunch and because there were no seats left indoors in a gallant attempt to embrace the spirit of summer we ate our food outside and it got me thinking about my favourite seasons of the year. Autumn and winter make me happy: the tartan scarves, the warm coffees, and cosying up under the duvet.
I’m going to cook heaps of soup to store in the freezer and learn some new recipes for pasta bake and risotto. There’s something very cosy about digging into a big bowl of carbs when it’s cold. I feel less guilty about snuggling up inside with a book when it’s pouring down outside and there are loads of novels on my ever-growing reading list. I’m guilty of neglecting my Kindle in favour of library books, so I’m determined to make my way through everything I haven’t read yet. |
