Here is my strategy for getting through the cold of the winter:
1. I acknowledge and celebrate all the positive steps I take even if that step seems like it is very small.
2. I give myself little treats everyday. (candle lit baths, cocoa with whiskey, Downton Abbey are three of my favourites)
3. I enjoy the lights and the warm places whenever I find them. I love seeing the christmas lights in the middle of the dark nights and finding all the warm places to snuggle up in the cold months.
