What is DirectChat?

DirectChat is a one to one phone chat service where you can call service providers directly and credits are deducted depending on the duration of your call.

How does DirectChat work?

Find the member you want to chat to, (make sure they are showing as available). To see who's available now, click here.
View their profile and then click on their "Phone Chat" link. Follow the subsequent DirectChat link to get your PIN number.
Call 0203 455 0150 and when prompted enter your User ID and then the PIN number.

Your call will then be connected to the service provider. Whilst waiting for the call to be connected, you will hear short beeps.

How does the billing work?

Your AdultWork.com credits account is debited automatically based on the duration of the call and the per minute rate set by the service provider you're calling. You are billed per second, not per minute.

DirectChat allows you to initiate phone chat sessions with AdultWork.com service providers, without the need to pre-book, and where your credits are debited automatically for as long as you stay on the phone.

Am I calling a premium rate number?

No! The number you call is 0203 455 0150. You will be billed at your standard network rate for this for a UK national call, not a premium rate number or a mobile number, (even if the service provider is using a mobile phone,is in another country or both!).

What is DirectChat?

DirectChat is a one to one phone chat service with no booking forms or time restrictions.

How does DirectChat work?

Via your Edit Profile page you...

Tick the box to say you wish to offer DirectChat.
Enter the telephone number you wish to receive calls on, (this remains hidden from the client at all times).
Specify the per minute rate you wish to charge, in AdultWork.com Credits.

Then, via your Availability Page, you specify that you are available for Phone Chat and DirectChat. (You can manage your availability via SMS so do not actually need to be anywhere near a PC to perform DirectChat once you've set your profile up.)

How will I know I've got an incoming DirectChat call?

All DirectChat calls will come from 02081148000. Add this number to your phone so you can easily identify DirectChat calls. When you answer the phone you will be given the option to accept or reject the call by pressing 1 or 2.

How will I receive my credits?

Your AdultWork.com credits account will be credited at the end of the call based on the per minute rate you set and the duration of the call.

Here's an example:

If you decide to charge 1 credit per minute and the DirectChat call lasts 2 minutes and 30 seconds, you'll receive 2.5 credits.

Are there any charges for me to pay?

There is a charge of 0.15 credits per minute that is deducted from your AdultWork.com credits account. This imposed on us by the telecoms facilitator.

What are the benefits of DirectChat?

Members don't have to use complicated forms
You don't have to accept/reject bookings in advance
You don't need to keep an eye on the clock whilst conducting the call
By offering this extra service you will receive more interest in your profile
Members are charged at the standard network rate for a national call, even if you have requested calls to come to your mobile number or even in a different country. (Note: currently only UK phone numbers are supported.)
