Today I started the day off with a short intense arms session....I like to change my workouts around so I hit my biceps first with some EZ bar curls....25kg on the bar and once warmed up I did 5 sets of 10 reps with a short 10 sec rest in between sets....yes that's right a whole 10 secs which gives you time to put the bar down but nowhere near enough time for the muscle to recover or the blood to drain from the muscle..hence a huge pump at the end of the exercise.
Then I did the same on hammer curls with a rope and finished with a set of slow time under tension preacher curls.....that way biceps done.
Next it was triceps..again I warmed up and then did a set of 12 close grip pushdowns with the rope super set with dips between the benches with a slow negative.
4 sets..dips to failure.
Then I did 4 sets of 12 reps with the rope behind my neck to really stretch the tricep. It isnt all about the weight. You need to shock your body...and can tire the muscle in various ways to ensure growth.
After that its the most important element....FOOD. 150g chicken with rice and green beans....

Feeling very strong this week at the gym and did a a personal best on the dumbbells for 6 reps on flats bench chest press....pressing the 27.5kg dumbbells nice and easy.....
Today I am having a day off the gym and did some shopping and now off to have my nails done and also my toe nails.....

Good Morning.....wow what a busy week its been.
