A swinging time

I hope you've had a lovely summer. Not that we've had much of one this year!

I recently had a wonderful sexual encounter with a delicious couple I met (via a site I won't name), based in North Lincolnshire.

Tuesdays with Morrie

Some of you may have read my previous post on the Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, which you may have noticed has now become a motion picture.

I have seen the film and did enjoy it and it was just as I pictured the book! See what you think.

I've just finished reading Tuesdays with Morrie, written by Mitch Albom, which is a little similar, although is a true story. If you are interested, there is a film adaptation and YouTube clips of Morrie when he appeared on TV.

The book is about Morrie and Mitch. One a professor - one a student, one old - one young, one healthy - one sick, one living - one dying. Morrie was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.

He developed a close relationship with Mitch during his studies at University but over time, they lost touch. It was only by chance that Mitch was reunited with Morrie while flicking through TV channels and seeing him on a late night news show.

In the last months of Morrie's life, he gives Mitch final lessons on the meaning of life and what really matters. These take place every Tuesday, just like his lessons at University.

I'll leave you to read the book if you want to know more, but one thing that struck a chord with me were his comments on culture. He says that the culture around us is not made to make us happy and if we don't want that culture in our lives then we have to make our own.

This is exactly why I shut off from everything going on in the world and concentrate on my own world and I think I'm a happier person for it. I'd rather go out for a long country walk or spend time with friends and family than talking about binge watching a TV series, getting wrapped up in the latest celebrity couple or fret about owning the latest gadgets.

Who cares? Does any of it matter when you or a loved one are faced with the last precious moments of your life? I'd rather spend time being with people I care about and giving back than fussing about people in the media that I don't even know.

Morrie was more satisfied with the simpler things of life than chasing the wrong things which is what many people do today.

Mitch, who is unsatisfied with his life and job realises he has been chasing the wrong things and takes Morrie's direction on forgetting about popular culture and devoting his life to supporting the community around him. Mitch also agrees to continue his conversations with Morrie after he has passed away and is surprised how easy it feels.

Although a little sad, it really is a wonderful book if you have the time to read it, or look up Morrie on YouTube. Mitch's memoir is definitely something to think about.

Spa Day Delight

Hi guys

Hope you are all keeping well.

I have been overdoing it lately with one thing or other and not looking after myself in recent months which has done me no favours!

So this week, I decided to have a little treat and book myself an afternoon at the local spa. I can tell you it was wonderful. I highly recommend trying it out for those that have never been. It really melts away the toxins and tension in the mind and body. I'm going to start making it a regular thing!

The first thing I tried was the ice room. Scooping out ice crystals and rubbing them all over myself to liven up the skin. What made it even more pleasurable was the lady that followed me in soon after. She was wearing a little bikini and had gorgeous, dark skin and a stunning backside on her. There the two of us were rubbing ice all over our bodies, I'd love
the two of us to have rubbed over each other. I almost wanted to tell her what I thought but knew I couldn't! She left soon after and then I made my way over to the steam room.

It was wonderfully warm and relaxing. I went in a couple of times and was joined by an older blonde lady in her bikini. She also looked rather tasty and felt I wouldn't have minded getting hot and steamy with her in there. So eventually, I went to cool off again in the ice room. Later I went for my MUD treatment!

I was greeted by a tasty young blonde with a Scandinavian accent. I stripped down to my bikini bottoms and laid there on the bench as she rubbed oil over my body with her soft, smooth hands. She then proceeded to rub the mud over me, gently massaging as she went along. Over my arms, legs, working up my thighs and over my stomach, neck and chest.

While the mud was working, she then gave me a lovely scalp massage. Working her hands round my neck and then running her fingers through my hair. Very soft and gentle. Following that, she then removed the mud and finished by rubbing a lovely warm oil over my body, once more. It was delightfully relaxing and I feel great for it! Think when I go home I might get my wand out and give myself a little treatment!

Re-planning my travels

Hi all

I have decided to restart my blog while trying to take it easy over the last month or two (trying but not succeeding!).

Some of you will know that sadly, my trip to South East Asia was cancelled due to COVID, so I never got to experience my first-class flight! :’( Oh well, I will rebook!

Since COVID, I seem to have lost my motivation for flying. However, I know if I don't continue my travels while I can, I may regret it later on! So, I have a lovely tour of Egypt booked later in the year. My tour includes a sleeper train and a three night cruise down the Nile which I am looking forward to.

I am not much of a beach bum and would rather spend my time sight seeing and exploring the place than driving myself mad lounging on a sunbed all week! Each to their own of course.

I already have another trip lined up for next year visiting Central Europe. After that I plan to tour the Himalayas and Canada as well as my trip to South East Asia. After that I will have just about ticked off all the places I wanted to see, then I will see where else takes my fancy! I know the delightful looking naturist and swingers town of Cap d'agde certainly beckons!
